An intimate songwriter series where the voices behind country music's greatest hits share the untold stories that made them.

Josh Martin deeply reveres the stories and sounds of the past. His music, rooted in the country and bluegrass traditions of his Eastern Kentucky heritage, is a clear reflection of that reverence, yet, without replication. Instead, Josh expands the two genres, through an organic tethering of soulful singing, stellar guitar work, thoughtful songwriting and dynamic musical arrangement, creating a listening experience as unique as hearing an electric guitar howling through the ancient trees of an Appalachian hillside.
Since making the move to Nashville, Josh has worked and performed with many of the industry’s top talents. Nothing Holding Me (2019) was his first full-length production featuring fan favorites “Between God and Me” and “Longview”. The Acoustic Sessions (2020) earned industry support from Spotify, Apple Music and CMT and his music video for the single “Cold Again” (2020) was featured as a “Pick of the Week” by Rolling Stone Country.

JOSH KISER Cleveland, Tennessee is bursting with pride since hometown boy Josh Kiser has become the newest rising legend in the making in Nashville’s country music scene. Kiser found his sweet spot by blending traditional 90’s sounds with a slight touch of rock&soul to his production to create a sound that resonates well with longtime country fans, as well as newer listeners. Most call it “Kiser Kountry”.Kiser draws his influences from artists like: Travis Tritt, The Eagles, George Straight, Ray Charles and Hank Jr.
The realness in his songs and sound are evident by the pain in his voice and the truth of his lyrics. Kiser is hammering out his own creative niche that fans will readily identify with the East Tennessee native himself Josh Kiser.

Originally from New Jersey, singer/songwriter Jeff Middleton moved to Nashville over twenty years ago to build a career in the music business. He was a member of the critically acclaimed Warner Music recording artist Dirt Drifters and has performed across the country and internationally with Chely Wright and Josh Thompson.
Over the past two decades, Jeff’s songs have been recorded by numerous artists, including Jason Aldean, Lee Brice, Morgan Wallen, Jordan Davis and Trace Adkins. He was nominated for CMA Song of the year for “Drowns the Whiskey”, a multi-week #1 on country radio for Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert. The song was certified by the RIAA as a platinum selling single.

Wyatt Durrette is an award-winning singer/songwriter from Richmond, VA. He has reached a staggering 10 billion digital streams, 14 #1 songs and 35 million records sold.

Richard Blackstone’s journey has been about building a number of market-leading and innovative companies in the music and entertainment industries.
Turn any occasion into a special experience with a live performance from talented singers. Whether it's a birthday, wedding, corporate event, or an intimate gathering, book a private show and enjoy a personalized musical experience like never before.
The Tradition -------
Nashville's songwriter round is one of music's most intimate traditions — a circle of writers, each telling the story behind the song before playing it. No backing band. No staging. Just a guitar, a voice, and the truth of where the song came from.
Southern Rounds brings that tradition to Analog @ The Hutton Hotel — Nashville's finest listening room — featuring the writers behind some of country music's most celebrated recordings.

THE ARTISTS ------
Growing up in Arkansas, Erin Enderlin was drawn to her papaw's record collection — before she even hit kindergarten, she was hooked on country music. Today, Rolling Stone says her songs are "the stuff of country classics — concise, tear-stained, and all too relatable.
"Elton John spotlighted her on his Rocket Hour show. The Country Music Hall of Fame featured her in its American Currents exhibit. A regular on the Grand Ole Opry — 30 appearances and counting — Enderlin has seen 50+ of her songs recorded by Lee Ann Womack, Reba, Willie Nelson, Luke Bryan, and The War and Treaty. She recently co-wrote "Blood in the River" for an upcoming 2026 Amazon Prime series produced by Morgan Freeman and Kevin Costner.
Moose won the Grammy Award for Best Country Song for co-writing "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" — Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett's iconic anthem. As a touring musician he was a core member of Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band.
As a producer, he co-produced Jamey Johnson's That Lonesome Song — ACM and CMA Song of the Year for "In Color," Grammy-nominated for Album of the Year. The ACM Piano/Keyboard Player of the Year (2015, 2017, 2023), Moose has played on over 40 #1 singles and soundtracks including Pixar's Cars. Inducted into both the Arkansas and Michigan Country Music Halls of Fame.
Multi-instrumentalist Alex Kline is among Nashville's premier No. 1 hit producers and songwriters. She made history as the first woman to solely produce a Mediabase #1 country hit with Tenille Arts' "Somebody Like That."
Nominated for AIMP Nashville Rising Songwriter of the Year and Music Row's Female Songwriter of the Year, her production work spans Tenille Arts, Tigirlily Gold, Harper Grace, Terri Clark, Maggie Rose, Ronnie Dunn, and more. Kline writes for Curb-Word Publishing.
Emerging from the heart of Arkansas, Sofie Smithson is a powerhouse country vocalist and songwriter leading the breakout band Sofie and The New Relics. With a voice reminiscent of Loretta Lynn and the storytelling spark of Emmylou Harris, Sofie blends classic country soul with modern Americana edge.
Reviewers consistently note her ability to connect deeply with audiences — making every performance feel personal and alive.
What Audiences Say
"
I've been to dozens of shows in Nashville. Nothing comes close to the intimacy of Southern Rounds. When the writer tells you where a song came from, you can never hear it the same way again.
