ADAM HOOD is known as a songwriter’s songwriter. Over nearly 20 years, he has built a sound that captures the true essence of Southern soul. Many call him a true American journeyman, and others consider him one of the living legends keeping Southern songs alive.
When an artist steps out from behind the songwriting curtain and puts their own name on the album cover, the world notices. Adam Hood made that move in 2002 and has continued to create his own path in country music for almost two decades.
In 2023, he achieved several milestones including performing at the Grand Ole Opry, earning a #1 Texas radio single, releasing Adam Hood’s Different Groove, writing on seven album tracks, and touring acoustically with Whiskey Myers, Aaron Raitiere, and Brent Cobb.
In 2024, Kylie Frey and Reid Haughton released singles co-written with him. Other album cuts included work with Cody Jinks, Taylor Hunnicutt, and Blackberry Smoke. His 2024 touring lineup included Drake White, Blackberry Smoke, Red Clay Strays, Steel Woods, Miranda Lambert, Hannah Dasher, and The Cadillac Three.
Following their successful collaboration on “Bad Days Better,” Brent Cobb and Adam Hood returned to Capricorn Studios in Macon, GA to record four new singles: Stage Lights, Here To Tell Ya, Bills in Alabama, and Beat That Train.
