Josh Martin
Josh Martin deeply reveres the stories and sounds of the past. His music, rooted in the country and bluegrass traditions of his Eastern Kentucky heritage, is a clear reflection of that reverence, yet, without replication. Instead, Josh expands the two genres, through an organic tethering of soulful singing, stellar guitar work, thoughtful songwriting and dynamic musical arrangement, creating a listening experience as unique as hearing an electric guitar howling through the ancient trees of an Appalachian hillside.
Since making the move to Nashville, Josh has worked and performed with many of the industry’s top talents. Nothing Holding Me (2019) was his first full-length production featuring fan favorites “Between God and Me” and “Longview”. The Acoustic Sessions (2020) earned industry support from Spotify, Apple Music and CMT and his music video for the single “Cold Again” (2020) was featured as a “Pick of the Week” by Rolling Stone Country.
