Songwriters In the Round

Imagine a world without music, without songs. Through the growth of music streaming and a singles-based musical landscape, it has become more difficult to make a living as a songwriter. In 2019, we began an aggressive plan to put dozens of songwriters on the road each weekend, performing the fruits of their labor. We wanted to help keep them doing what they do best...writing, and now performing, their music. When COVID hit, we had to pivot and turned to online performances to showcase these great live performances. Southern Rounds took the tradition of Nashville’s songwriter rounds and created the FIRST weekly virtual “songwriters in the round” where, for one magical night a week, performers weave stories and songs into an immersive and entertaining experience. While we fully intend to bring these shows to cities across America, and the world, once safe to do so, we currently get to enjoy this intimate experience in the comfort of our own homes. Curated and co-founded by award-winning hit songwriter Wyatt Durrette, each show features the writers behind some of Country’s biggest acts including Zac Brown Band, Luke Combs, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts and more.
